Sifnos Roots is situated in a perfect location, in order to enjoy a quiet stay. However, many places of interest are close to our villa. Apollonia, the capital of Sifnos Island is just 2 kilometers away. Therefore, you can find yourself there within minutes. Additionally, the small but picturesque village of Artemonas is a 10 minute drive away. The most famous settlement on Sifnos Island called Kastro (the castle) is only 5 kilometers away. In these villages, you will find plenty of restaurants, taverns, shops and bars.
Regarding places where you can swim, the largest beach on the island is called Platis Gialos and you can reach it quite easily from Sifnos Roots and in less than 15 minutes.
Another beautiful location that consists of two small beaches, of a small port for kaiki boats and of a few houses and taverns is called Faros. You can find yourself there in about 10 minutes.
Since our villa is situated at a central location and given the fact that Sifnos is a small and unique island, you can reach every place quickly. Even the settlement of Cheronissos, at the north coast of the island, is only 25 minutes away.
Welcome to Krotiri area in Parikia Bay. Our location is quite popular as you can see it from Parikia or when arriving on a ferry. Due to the elevated landscape, you will enjoy the breath-taking view of the sea and of the capital of Paros. It is amazing that the view offers one experience during the day, and another during the night.
Roses Beach Hotel covers the need of staying in a quiet location, yet being close to the places of interest. Famous Paros beaches are nearby and Parikia, with its alleys and attractions, is just a few minutes away.
Beaches
The nearest beach to Roses Beach Hotel is called Livadia. You can reach it on foot in a few minutes as there is a path from our facilities to the beach. Livadia will exceed your expectations if you are looking for an organized environment. It features beach bars, sunbeds, umbrellas etc. About 2 kilometers to the west of our hotel, you will find Martselo Beach. This one consists of the organized part and of the unspoiled part. The organized section of Martselo features a beach bar with the entire infrastructure; umbrellas, sunbeds etc. The unspoiled part is quiet and it is preferred by families with small children. Additionally, Martselo shares the same coast with Krios Beach. Therefore you will be able to visit it too.
Parikia   Â
Parikia is the capital of Paros Island. It is becoming more and more popular among travellers, as its beauty is becoming recognizable. In Parikia you will find most of the attractions of the island. The most famous is Panagia Ekatontapyliani church. Additionally, Parikia features the Frankish Castle in the old town and other places of interest, mainly from the Venetian occupation. In Parikia you will find many taverns, restaurants and cocktail bars. Gift shops and boutique stores are also countless. You can acquire anything for yourself and for people back home. Â
